Chicken stroganoff
This chicken stroganoff was delicious. A lot of people believe the main ingredient of stroganoff is beef, but you can use any meat. The definition of stroganoff is simply using a base of sour cream, onions, mushrooms, and any meat; So I decided to use chicken. It was a very quick meal and very tasty. I sauteed the chicken and onions in olive oil until the chicken was no longer pink and the onions were tender. Then I added the mushrooms, sour cream, and milk to the mixture. I let it simmer until the mixture was heated through and the mushrooms were tender. I seasoned to taste with basil, salt, pepper, and garlic seasoning. You can serve this over rice or egg noodles, but either way it will be great!
